Kootenay is a bunkhouse and is the smallest of the three off-grid cabins conveniently located next to Home Ranch Bottoms. It features a full, private bath (hot shower!), a pullout couch, a twin bunkbed and a coffee bar. It does not have a kitchen or electricity and best serves guests who are in need of a basecamp with a hot shower in between daily adventures.

Each cabin has a private yard to enjoy campfires and yard games. A gravel road/trail weaves throughout the property connecting the cabins to the array of amenities offered at our bar, restaurant and music venue across the field.

Don't go far! You'll find fresh-squeezed huckleberry margaritas, smash burgers and incredible live music right next door at Home Ranch Bottoms. Maps and adventure planning, too.

4 miles north of us is the Polebridge townsite, home to the historic Northern Lights Saloon and Polebridge Mercantile. Beyond the townsite is our local entrance into Glacier National Park, the North Fork. It features Bowman and Kintla Lakes. There you will find a multitude of trails and beaches for relaxing. Our closest river accesses are 4 miles north (Polebridge) and 3 miles south (Coal Creek), making Home Ranch Cabins an ideal basecamp for river activities.

The main entrance to Glacier (West Glacier) is 20 miles south of us. There you will find the most popular attractions and activities. East Glacier is about 3 1/2 hours away. And remember, drive slow and enjoy the views.

Guests have a private vehicle access and plenty of parking space in front of each cabin. Cabins are self check-in using provided codes although we'd love to meet you if you have time! Please come to Home Ranch Bottoms if you have any troubles.

Please note there is no electricity at this cabin. If you are on any medical or other devices which need electricity please check out our other rentals, The Bungalow or The Cabin. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.

Remember that there is no cell service in this area. We do provide internet on the property, though it may not be accessible from the cabin at times. The router is located at in the Bungalow cabin so walking toward it will ensure a decent connection. Home Ranch Bottoms will provide wifi to cabin guests as well.
