The Bungalow is the largest of three off-grid cabins available for seasonal guests conveniently located next to Home Ranch Bottoms. The bungalow features a full private bath (hot shower!), a living room, a kitchen, a comfy couch, two lofts with beds, and a private room with a full bed. The cabin has a yard, outdoor seating and a fire ring to enjoy the view of Winona Ridge. This is one of two accommodations here that has electricity.
Each cabin has a private yard to enjoy campfires and yard games. A gravel road/trail weaves throughout the property connecting the cabins to the amenities offered at our bar, restaurant and music venue across the field.Â
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS:
Don't go far! You'll find fresh-squeezed huckleberry margaritas, smash burgers and incredible live music right next door at Home Ranch Bottoms. Maps and adventure planning, too.
4 miles north of us is the Polebridge townsite, home to the historic Northern Lights Saloon and Polebridge Mercantile. Beyond the townsite is our local entrance into Glacier National Park, the North Fork. It features Bowman and Kintla Lakes. There you will find a multitude of trails and beaches for relaxing. Our closest river accesses are 4 miles north (Polebridge) and 3 miles south (Coal Creek), making Home Ranch Cabins an ideal basecamp for river activities.
The main entrance to Glacier (West Glacier) is 20 miles south of us. There you will find the most popular attractions and activities. East Glacier is about 3 1/2 hours away.
No reservations or permits are required to access Glacier National Park this year.
CABIN NOTES:
Our cabins are 100% solar-powered and off-grid. We ask that guests be extra aware of their impact during their stay by avoiding the use of heated appliances (think crock pots and curling irons) as it will overload our sensitive electrical system. We are on a septic system so please throw everything but toilet paper in trash cans. And remember, drive slow and enjoy the views.
Guests have private vehicle access and plenty of parking space in front of each cabin. Cabins are self check-in using provided codes. If you have any questions (adventure planning included!) or issues arise during your stay please don't hesitate to come find us at Home Ranch Bottoms.

Please remember, the Polebridge area does not have any services so fill up on fuel and groceries and be prepared to travel slowly (respect the locals!) and enjoy the views as you travel up the scenic (and sometimes bumpy and dusty) dirt road.
Travel option 1: Take hwy 486/North Fork Road out of Columbia Falls. 32 miles bumpy, dusty dirt road. No lines.
Travel option 2: Take US-2 to West Glacier, north on Glacier Rte 1, left on Camas Rd (all paved), then right/north on hwy 486/North Fork Road (11 miles dirt). Park pass will be required and you may encounter lines at Park entrance.

Hi! We're Liz and Flan! We are your hosts at Home Ranch Cabins! We live full time in Polebridge with our husbands and mostly good - bad dogs. When we're not hard at work, you can find us floating the river, drinking huckleberry margaritas on a mountain top or square dancing at the community hall.
